check broadway.com

Don't know about the USA, but here in the UK, some theatres sell tickets on the day. There is always the possibility of returns from people who have booked but can't go that day. I would ring the box office and find out what the possibility of getting tickets is.

NYC Director is exactly right. They are connected. However it is always worth calling (or visiting) the box office. Occasionally they have tickets set aside for various reasons that may be available. There is a good chance nothing will be available but it is always worth confirming with the box office that there really are no seats left .
