Shake 2.5 tbs of honey into a bottle of water and drink at intervals before and throughout the show. Take a steam shower, and if possible throw a Vicks Vapor Tablet in to help clear out any stuffy sinuses. Peppermint helps soothe the throat, and deep diaphram breaths will help you get prepared. Also, about 3 hours before the show drink chamomille tea. It helps calm you down, get you relaxed and focused, and also helps your voice. Furthermore, do NOT eat or drink any dairy products or chocolate (I hope you haven't within 24 hours, actually, because dairy and chocolate create mucus in the throat and make it difficut to sing. No worries, though. If you have eaten/drank any dairy or chocolate in the past 24 hours, gargle some warm water with salt, but not too much salt, to help break up the mucus. Gross, but works.) Before the show, do some vocal warm ups. One of my favorites is to propel your lips (you know, you take in a breath and then relax your lips and push the air through so it makes sound?) and hum the notes to your songs while you do it. It helps improve your range in a short period of time.

I hope all this helps! Good luck, I'm sure you'll do great!

i heard honey water and a dash of lime helps

drink tea w/ hunny

Eat some peppermint. It helps you to keep your range up and helps your voice not to crack up.

drink alots of water so your throat doesnt get to dry.

avoid dairy products and relax, you will be great!

Relax, take some deep breaths. Obviously, do a 30-minute warm-up before (or whatever time you have!) Warm up your ENTIRE range. Have to get head shots be back! Good luck :) you'll do fine
