Concerning dance auditions?

Question:I have never tried for musicals but I want to start doing so. what happens at dance auditions where females have say a 10am call. does each dancer audition by herself or is it in a group?

Depends- But MOST of the time the will have you learn the dance in a Huge group and then audition in groups of 4or5.

It varies...however, in most cases I would say it is in a group. That way, they can compare each dancer's precision/facial expression, etc.

im in my high schools musical theatre and we addition in a group.
I think it might be different if yours is not in high school.
But as much as i know u dont addition by yourself if you're in a musical theatre
