I'm auditioning tomorrow and i need some advice?

Question:My school always put an play production and this year we're doing Beauty and the Beast. (a classic i guess =3)
I want to try out for Beauty but everyone thinks this certain girl will get the part and i'm so nervous.
I dont know what to do i just need some advice before i audition.
I also have a case of being really nervous. So i need advice for that too. Thank you so much if you answered.

Auditioning can be very nerve-racking. The best advise that I can give you, coming from years of experience, is to go into the audition, and let yourself shine through. If you have the time to look over the script, familiarize yourself with one or two of the monologues, and go for it.

Remember, it is not all that important that you ace the audition, as that is what rehearsals are for.

Also, if you do not get the lead in the show, take the role that you are offered - it shows good faith, and will give you the time to hone the craft of being onstage. Then, you may have a better chance for a larger role the next time.

being nervous will cause u to mess up so imagine the crowd not infont of you, it also causes you to mess up your lines so be brave and confident. have a great personality, move around and act like ur actually in the play, and dont be nervous! you will have fun and getting on the stage shows you have the guts to stand out, also, dont ever allow someone to get in the way of your performance, dont have people put you down saying that one girl will get the part, it will bring you confidence level down. Break a leg!

Dont be nervous, that would make your audition stink. When you sing, sing loud because then the musical directors would think you are an easy cast. During your monologue, make SURE you don't speak too fast. Sometimes you dont notice it. And show emotion and pro-ject.
