Position:Home>Theater & Acting> I need a warm up game that involves basic french words and echo and movement?

Question:For a little stage production, I need to make a warm up game (which I will be leading) for actors to focus on echo, movement and their basic french.

Any ideas? They're all girls and in the age range of 11-14

Word ball. Stand in a circle. One person mimes throwing a ball to someone while they say a word (in your case, a French word). The person mimes catching it and repeats the word, then throws another word to someone else, who does the same thing.

As a variant, you could do the same thing but have everybody say the word after it's thrown.

After they get the structure, increase the tempo.

I know this won't be exactly what you wanted, but it can be your last resort!
We do this in chorus: we count from one to eight (un to huit) in French as we shake our right hand, then our left hand, then our right foot, then our left foot. Then you count from one to seven, one to six, one to five, et cetera. Then, after you shake each body part once, you clap your hands once. It sounds horrible written out but doing it is more fun, especially at the end. Hope I helped you a tiny bit. :^)
