actress and move 2 Cali or New York?

Question:I want to be a film actress sooo badly! I love acting and I'm good a it, I just want to know if anyone else feels like this or if anyone has any advice?

I'll tell you that it's not impossible, but it will require some hard work. If I were you I'd start out small maybe try out for a skit it your city. And then work your way up to the big stuff. You see lots of people are like you, and some fail, but other are super successful millionaires! :)

Yeah, there are millions out there that want the same thing. Unless you have acted in a film you have no idea what it is like. Getting up at 5am every day and sitting around waiting all day. Not so exciting and glamorous as you imagine. But the way to make it is to do all the speech and drama stuff at school. When you graduate, prepare to move to not LA or NYC but to a place where you can become established as an actor like, Dallas, Denver, or Atlanta.
Then you work hard to build a resume and try to get an agent. If you are truly very good at it, you will get roles.
and always always get into all the plays you can. experience is what teaches you to act.

i want the same thing, but trust me, i already live in ny and its not so great and there arent many auditions to get ur carrer started. I want 2 live in la, besides the opportunities, the weather is like almost always awesome! lol

there are millions who share the same dream, and im one of them!!! but just so u know, i live in california and i havent tried out for a movie but my friends has tons of times, and she never made it. shes really good, but i guess not good enough. im not trying 2 discourage u, go and follow ur dream! all im saying is that they dont come true 4 everyone even if u move 2 a place where TOOOOOOOOOOOOONS of movies are made. then again, i dont know how good u r... good luck though and try 2 get in as many school plays as possible!!! ;)
