Question Home

Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Any chance of getting an agent? (NZ, pref)?

Question:I've noticed that most agencies (here, atleast) are "model/talent" rather than acting.
I have a passion for acting, and would love to actually work as an actor (I can't see anything else for me) but I think the only way to expand my CV may be through TVCs & amateur theatre. I don't live in Auckland(!) and I'm studying at the moment.
I'm slim (but too short for real modelling) and have been told by model friends I have a good "face" whatever that means.
My question is, is it worth going through a 'model/talent' agency to get jobs for my CV? And would there be any chance of me getting booked?

Thanks in advance.

I know this isn't the answer to your original question, but this might help.
