Question:I have to direct a ten minute preformance from a published play and the characters must be one male & one female. What do you think would be a good play to choose a scene from? I'd prefer it to be something that's not very well known.

Check out Cherie Vogelstein's "Date With a Stranger". It is a hysterical piece for one man and one woman and is not performed all that often. I think it runs closer to 15 minutes but it would be easy to edit it down to 10. You can find it in the library in the book The Best American Short Plays 1993-1994.
