Am i sandy??!!?

Question:At my school play this year we're doing a production of Grease. I auditioned for the part of sandy on monday and i think it went quite well! but today i was asked to re- audition. i was the only girl and there was two boys with me. i don't know if they called me back to hear me sing with the boys because i got the part or because they didn't think i was good. what shall i do. do you think i got the part!?

sometimes if you over think it you will get your hopes up too much however whenever you are called back it means that they want to see you again. I have no idea what they are thinking but it could depend on what song you sang with the guys. You could be being tried for any one of the leads in Grease. Also the production team could be have multiple people paired and they wanted to see how certain people sounded together. You never know what they are thinking and all you can do is be your best in the part they give you. It could work out in the end. For example, our school did High School Musical and at first I was cast as a Braniac but then the girl who played Sharpay was kicked out and I was given the part! They said they liked my work ethic and they liked how i had handled not getting the part i wanted. Anyhoo, your situation sounds good to me, but even if you don't get the part, you won't have fun unless you enjoy the part you have and don't get jealous!!!! Good luck, I bet you'll do great! You should not ask us are you sandy. That is up to the casting director. Good luck though!

i couldn't say, if you are pretty confident you did then there is a big chance you did, just remember that even if you don't get the part don't get discouraged try try again

Maybe it was just a reaudition..like they had you audition with two boys that they were considering,and had someone else audition with diff (or the same) boys..Either way,do you're best and you'll do great :-)

I don't know! It's a call back they wanted to hear you again because they 1. didn't think you did your best 2. wanted to do a final check on you

You can only guess until the cast list is posted. But please for your own sake don't read too much into it a lot of the girls have duets with the boys; not just Sandy.
