I want 2 become a singer....?

Question:What do i have to do in order to become a famous singer??? do i audition somewhere??? (not american idol)
But what do i have to do in order to be a famous artist........????

HELP!?

1) Find original music to sing, not just karaoke versions of other songs

2) DON'T do the record label thing - people are finding their own way in music without the labels by selling their music directly through iTunes now.

3) Make good recordings of your music - offer one song for free, and sell the rest on iTunes.

4) Make a myspace page, and visit TONS of other myspace pages, so that people can 'find' you.

5) Ignore the critics - there will always be someone who doesn't like your work, but that doesn't mean you're bad.

6) Record MORE music, so that people don't get bored with your old stuff.

7) Perform live around your town - there are tons of open mic nights at different places for new artists.

8) When you become semi-popular, tell your local news about it, so that they might be able to do a story on you on days when there isn't much to do news about.

get noticed by record labels... i was going to say american idol...

first, you have to be great, not good. work on that first and the rest will follow by itself.

Audition at a record label. Easiest way would be to get a singing coach which would fine tune your talents and they usually know where to go to get people hooked up.

There are many schools that do put you in that industry. I'm not sure of the name, but I know one school (you do have to audition) comes to my town once or twice a month. Also, just to say, my town isn't very big, so they probably go to more popular towns/states alot more.

Well you should first work with a voice trainer or choir teacher at school or church and then look for a record dealer or get into a talent contest!!Good luck with it!!

Gosh you think you can just want to be a famous artist. Well you can't want it to just to have it. You have to be good and know it isn't easy. Which for some reason you think it is. Get a class and a trainer you'll need help. ( Learn this stuff isn't easy)
