My Dream, but is that all it is ??

Question:I'm a little fed up,

I have been acting for as long as I can remember, but I just feel like i'm getting no where. I get through all the recall auditions for different drama schools but I never seem to make it in.

I want this so much to act to be called a true actress. I just feel Im losing heart.

wouldnt it be wonderful to do this for real.

All I can say is, good! If you're fed up, and give up, than there's a better chance for me.
If you want to be an actress you've gotta have the passion and drive to keep going for it even when you seem to be going nowhere. If you're auditioning, than you're on the right track 100%. You just gotta keep doing it.

Try taking workshops, private lessons, seeing more theatre- anything that will help develop you as an actress. Because even though your beautiful, if you're fed up of auditioning, or trying and not getting there fast enough, you won't succeed. There are a thousand other girls who are half as talented and pretty who will make it because they don't know the meaning of the word 'Quit'.

I know you're just looking for a pat on the back and reasurrance, but if you're really serious about this you gotta know that nobody in the industry will be rooting for you- except yourself. So figure out what you want. What does being a "true actress" mean to you? Broadway? Hollywood? Making a living off acting only? A starring role in your local drama club?

Once you've figured that out keep auditioning and developing yourself as an artist. Keep trying because nobody is going to hand you a silver platter with your fullfilled dreams on it. The only person who can make it become "real" is you!

we all have dreams, what would life be l;ike without them. there is something you must know, all actors and actresses have had to wait years to be finally recognised and accepted into the roles of acting, some people are natural, some people have to learn acting. Best to enrol in acting school, try to get into tv advertising, commercials ect.or you could even model for clothing catalogues. somewhere your going to get noticed.... then you never know,dont give up, keep trying good luck.
