I can't find any acting jobs? and what about agents?

Question:I can't find any acting jobs in my area. I live in the boston area, and it seems that I just cant find any. I have been looking all day, on all websites, and at all commituty theaters!

Should I look into getting a agent? If so, how much do they cost...and do they really help?

the only advice i can give about the acting jobs is that it is a tough tough biz to get into, just keep trying and leave no rock unturned.

what i can help you with... head shots are really expensive now and days, it is good to have them but all you really need is a strong picture of your face. You can take them yourself (or have a friend with a camera help you out) and just print them off for cheap at a kincos or do it yourself if you have a nice printer. Your head shot is just your head shot, its your audition that you should focus on.

It is not season for auditions right now. Spring shows are cast and in rehearsal, and Summer shows have not auditioned yet. Here is site for theaters in your state -
