Ventriloquist Dummy....Please Answer. =(?

Question:So...tommorow im gonna get the Charlie McCarthy Ventriloquist dummy, and i was just wondering if anyone had a dummy, will you give me some tips on like how to use it and whatever else you want to add. That would be great.

I would start by going to http://www.axtell.com/learn.html

There, you can learn a lot about puppets and ventriloquism.

If you have any questions along the way, ask again on yahoo answers. I regularly do a search for the keywords "ventriloquist" and "ventriloquism."

Also take a look at http://www.carolgreene.com She has an "Arts in Education" section that has great ventriloquist tips. Her puppetry tips are wonderful.

No really I sing..Most dummies are good singers.
Every instrament needs vibration

Usially make a aaaaaaaa sound in my throught pushing air.
the words are formed by the tip of my toung against and hidden behind my teeth.And through my nose. the nose is the pitch.

Good luck..Once you got that down try singing

Go to You Tube and go to Charlie McCarthy and you will see the real thing.
