A play on cleopatra help!?

Question:I am making a play for school about Cleopatra
I have coverd her birth and how much everyone wanted to come into throne
now I need to say how she became ruler and about Antony. I can I do this? what should I write next? what is a good website to use?

her life is pretty much speculation, as you can tell between the vast difference of Antony and Cleopatra and the movie with Elizabeth taylor, the problem is we don't really know (although once I heard she was a blonde?!!)

Because she has been departed for so long we can do whatever you want with her, just realize you may have some historian say "oh no she didn't" luckily it's theatre, that happens all the time. Take for example Richard III hardly close to historical fact.

Just make your play really good and make sure there is a decent throughline and some good monologues

I would read as many books on her as possible so you can get a sense of her story, this is a brief bio about her
