Is it possible to be straight, male, and like musical theatre?

Sure it is! That's like asking if its possible to be straight, male, and like acting for television or the big screen! Its just that stereotypes have really caused many people to think that you have to be gay to like like musical theater.

Yes! I go to a performing arts school and MANY of the guys are straight! Also, think about Wilson Jermaine Heredia! The guy played a DRAG QUEEN in the broadway production of RENT and is straight! 'Nuff said.

Absolutey! Just look at Zach Efron and Richard Geere and John Travolta. They're three of the hottest actors in the market and all of them have had leading roles in musicals. Plus, girls think it's hot. Anyone can run around and throw a ball, but few can act, dance, and carry a tune. Of course there will be some who disagree, but it's impossible to please everyone. Just do what makes you happy and screw everyone else.
