At 15 your first step is to make sure you have your parents backing. Support, especially family support, is key to progressing. If this is not in place and you still would aspire for this then truck on.

You, of course, need a resume and a basic head shot if you want to be marketable and have more appeal. Make sure you know where your strengths are when it comes to auditioning for parts. Are you more of a lead or a support type actor? Do you like action acting or prefer something theatrical?

Why don't you jot down what it is you like about acting, what you can bring to the table that's unique, and how you plan on achieving these goals. Being decisive and intelligent about moving forward with your chosen career, and starting out early as you are, are great stepping stones for a successful future!

Best of luck! See you on the big screen!

Well, don't quit your day job first of all...just to be realistic. A Dr. friends son has been acting for 15 yrs...in that time hes made around $1,500 - averaging around $100 a yr. Make sure it's what you not just 'want' but you have the talent to succeed.
The following link is a camp for young actors, such as yourself ...look into it. then look into others, run ad's in papers ; 'Young Actor Seeks Work' ...Network with other actors...sharpen your skills before moving to Hollywood. Practice,Practice,Practice.

Haha...

Well....

I'm an actor that was in the movie "Benchwarmers"....

I've been in three TV shows....And four commercials, two of which during the super bowl....And I'm in a Pilot that comes out next month....

First I'd make sure your perents were down with it....

Then I'd get the name of some agencies in LA....(Please, don't ever pay for an agency, they're only trying to take your money, the main agencys don't make you pay)

Then they'll ask you to come to LA for an interview, and if they accept you, you'll start going out on auditions....

But, your parents have to be 100% on it, if you are going to fully do it....

If you have anymore questions, email me....

Internships are ALL over Iowa. I have a summer internship lined up this summer with a really great organization in Iowa. I'd say that if acting is what you want to do, you should try to get some internships, go to college, act there, and then move to Chicago and break through there. A lot of theatre people break through in Chicago.

If you were talking about movie acting, I can't really help you.
