Step 1: Ask your Mom!

Okay, what you need to do is wait for a time when you're alone and have her full attention. Once you have that oppurtunity, say "Mom, I really need to talk to you about something and its important." - That should get her attention. Then say "I don't know if you knew this, but acting really means a lot to me. A lot. And now I'd like to do more, you know how much I'd like to be on Disney Channel right?" Then she'll probably give you a little speech on how it take time to get on DC. Then you say, "I know and understand that, so now, I'd like your help in making this dream a reality." Then you whip out all your information and show your mom you've done your homework, and all should be well.

Step 2: Credits!
Okay, so you don't have any credits, that's okay! Like you said, Dakota didn't have any credits when she started, but then again, she was 4. So let's look at Miley, well, not everyone can have a famous dad, so think about this: School credits are great! Put them on a resume (examples: http://www.bestsampleresume.com/sample-a...
Then while you're trying to build your name as an actor, try to do student films, or community theatre in the area. That'll keep your skills sharp, and show you're always trying to improve yourself, and you'll gain more exsposure and experience! Also, it's great you think your a great actress, but you have to prove it to others! Gain as much experience, and take classes too, there is always room for growth! Sites to check are GoCityKids and Mandy.com!

Step 3: Getting an Agent!
Now, for most breakdowns, especially DC ones, you'll need an agent, because those auditions aren't availible to the public. You will want a SAG-registered agent. Look here for one by you: http://www.sag.org/node/667 - Once you have selected one, mail them your headshot and resume.

Step 4: Getting Cast!
Sorry, but the "Suite Life of Zach and Cody" has been canceled. However, its spinoff is casting right now, you can mail your headshot/resume to:

Lisa London
London / Stroud Casting

For Hannah Montana:

Carol Goldwasser

For Wizards of Waverly Place:

For J.O.N.A.S:

Also, take into account that most background roles for Disney Channel are cast through Central Casting (http://www.centralcasting.org/NY/actors/...

Good luck, I sincerely hope you achieve your dreams, keep us posted!

Yes, you'll need an agent to help you get started. This should help you:

It's good that you have done school plays. Do you have any other training, like classes and such? That would be great for you to have.

Well, ask your parents, and then try to find a SAG registered agent. School credits are great, so don't worry. Fulfill those dreams!...and please reply to my message I sent you. lol

Thanks,
Angel.

Go Wild! Don't ever feel silly or upset about wanting to follow your dreams..

For young person acting, it likely best to find an agent.

It won't come easy, and if you give up, it will never come, ever. Sign up for acting class, take it seriously....become a professional...take it seriously. When your parents see how seriously you take it they will be proud.

I started by being an extra. After the second one - they tapped me for a walk-on part in Streets of Fire. Just get your face and great smile out there. And be patient and kind. Have a healthy and happy leap year!

Most of the Internet sites you found these "auditions" are a scam.... Be careful with these because they might be from pedophiles trying to lure in kids with false addresses, because as you know, most kids want to be actors/actresses on Disney.

As for your mom.... Step right up to her and just say it.... ask her, if she doesn't approve, just keep going at it every way (not any way) you can SAFELY!!!! eventually she will come around.

~ You gotta have credits in order for you to be successful... Miley and Dakota were EXTREMELY lucky (not to say they're not talented) they were just in the right place at the right time.... you have a very slow chance of that. So your best bet is to get out in the community and get yourself some experience.

~as for the agent, it'll make things a lot easier and smoother if you have one but.... they won't even give you a glance if you have a very short resume or no acting experience at all....

Good Luck!
