the book is wonderful... haven't seen the movie, but its about a girl and her "demon" that are trying to protect the compass that only she can read and if they let it fall into the wrong hands the world as they know it could end. so its an adventure fantasy book. many people think its blasphamous because it is kind of anti church not neccessarily anti religion but he author is an atheist. i personally read books for the story so i don't really make that conection and im a christian but the book doesn't bother me i actuall loved the trilogy that pullman wrote!

i think it was horrible

It was horrible, and extremely confusing. I'm not even sure I can even say what it was about, because the movie made no sense at all. But I know it is about a little girl and her adventure where she is running from evil people.

But a plus is that the animation was brilliant :)
