I missed a casting call for a project! What should I do?

Question:I recently missed a casting call to be an extra in an upcoming project. I really want to audition for any other roles or opportunities that they might have for this show; however, I don't want to seem overly pushy or excessively bothersome. What should I do? I no longer have an agent (I stopped acting a few years ago), so a freelance actor can't really just waltz into their building and demand an audition! How should I approach this situation?
