Desperately need help?

Question:im auditioning for boy gets girl on monday, is any1 familiar with this play by rebecca gilman? i had a monologue prepared, but i don't think it's the right one anymore... wut monologue would show strengths to get either Tony's or Mercer's role?

TONY- stalker who doesn't take no for an answer; wants the girl, never stops trying; goes crazy without her and suffers extreme anxiety about not being in the relationship like he wants

MERCER- The stalkee's coleague; married man who is compassionate, and very good friend material. Worries about Theresa (stalkee), and is front row to her problem- easy to come to.

how long does the monolog have to be
i would say
if you want alot of lines go for mercer
tony just fades into the background after the audiance meets him but if you dont mind not having alot of lines then there you go perfect
my school just put this on a couple of weeks ago and i was happy to see it
its a very good show
for mercer something more senstive/sweet/sarcastic funny
tony obviously something kinda agrevated and fierce/dark

Go with the monologue you prepared. The worst thing you can do for an audition is go in with new material that you've just learned.
