Question:i understand what she does and the power she had over Macbeth when she convinced him to kill King Duncan. But i dont understand the "clues" that Shakespeare gives us to not make her judge so harshly.

She feels bad for what she did - needing to wash her hands all the time. She feels she has gained nothing by killing, and feel bad about it - so bad that she goes crazy. She probably could have be a right cool Queen if she hadn't done something so awful. She was a good wife, and she tries to help Macbeth. That's it in a nutshell.

I think it's because she is doing what is best for her husband, Macbeth. Also, because her actions show that she loves him. I'm not really sure.
