I agree you don't *need* good luck charms, but a lot of people think it's fun. What about a special (small and safe) piece of jewelry given to you by your parents, or your first pair of earrings when you got your ears pierced, or the socks you were wearing when the guy you had a crush on finally said "hi." Or you could always wear something (even hidden) of your favorite color, etc. Why not? The best charms are things that are personal to you.

Every time my dd finishes a significant performance I give her a little gift to remember it, e.g., a special ring or t-shirt, or certain wardrobe items she can wear as her character and also be eager to wear to school. It's fun.

You also could persuade your parents that roses, carnations, anything you love, is your good luck charm. :)

Enjoy!

You don't need any good luck charms, you'll be just fine without them.

I'd wish you good luck but you don't need it, I'm sure you're brilliant anyway.

Go get 'em. You can do it.

For an Actor, everything is hidden in the people. Because the appreciator are the real people. But you are talking about the good luck! I let you to know that you Must concentrate on your part and kept fully in it during the play, don't feel any bit of the people who are watching you, just play your part honestly. And good luck comes bare foot to your performances. Take first good luck from me.

There's no such thing as luck. Only skill.

You don't need luck but some actors kiss the mirror after they've put on their make-up. However I would not recommend this for obvious reasons. Really it's mind over matter; if you build up the performance the more daunting it will seem. Just tell yourself "This is no big deal and I DO NOT have time nerves." Break a leg and I sure you'll do great!
