Question:I am auditioning for a play and we need to use a monolouge from another play. Some people are saying that it is a play, but others say it isn't. I need to know ASAP. PLEASE HELP ME. Thank you.

It is a play, but I believe the situation is this:

I think the play was never published, but the monologue got out there in monologue books and become popular audition piece. FYI - That monologue is *very* common, and I have heard people do it several times.
