The sun. Personification...the technique where something non-human is given human qualities. "The worshiped sun peered forth" the sun doesn't peer (to look), so it is personification. Damn good one too...Shakespeare was awesome. The capitalization in that stanza made it a little hard to see the technique too, when you read Shakespeare you really have to follow the periods to know where sentences end. Shakespeare should be watched anyway.

Okay, Shakespeare LOVES comparing light and dark. In this quotation, Romeo's pretty much saying that he used to live for the sun, but now that he has found Juliet, he is the only thing worth living for. Since the sun is what lights the earth, he's pretty much saying Juliet is doing that in his world now. Hope that helps!
