I'm guessing you're talking about Romeo and Juliet. I don't quite remember the pardoned, but as for the punished part he was angry at the families for their constant fighting. At the beginning of the play he warns them there will be consequences. The death of their children was the ultimate punishment.

Just the people who can't spell or use correct grammar will be punished. Looks like you are out of luck.
