The audition description says: "Please prepare a contemporary monologue (or a cold script may be given)" I think it says it may be given anyways.. what does any of this mean and does any1 have any suggestions?????? It means to prepare a monologue from a modern play, or if you don't (which you should) there will be cold readings from the script. (Cold readings are where you just read a part from the script as an audition.) I would strongly suggest preparing a monologue for the audition, it shows that you are willing to work, and is more capable of showing off your skills. Get a monolouge from a play [NOT one from a movie or a made up one] and Memorize it. a cold script is just some lines from the play they are putting on or whatever it is [musical, etc] that they want you to read on the spot, they may give you a few minutes to look it over then you must peform it. Hope this helps. good luck! I know a place has so many informations: How to do your best in Auditions: http://www.myactingagent.com/fcasting.ph...
