In San Sebastian P.R. where could I go to be a model? Somewhere in the vinicity?

Question:I am 13 years old, and I would like to be famous. When I grow up I plan to be a, Actor/ Model, if I have luck I might also be a singer. I would like to start modeling first. I have a great body and im handsome, I only need a little bit of carisma, and a bit of liquid foundation to cover up my skin. ( I have a few small pimples, not that I have acne or anything). Where could I go to try-out, and what do I need before entering for try-outs. How much would I have to pay, my mom makes 1,200 dollars a month.

Move to new york and join a big modelling agency like Ford or google search agencies in your area if none of their offices are near you. But be careful of scams! If they ask for money up front walk away.
I feel the exact same way as you, but 'm 15 and plan to go to a modelling agency when I'm 16 as that's the main age for a man to start modelling high fashon. But if you're going to take modelling seriously make sure you eat healthy and keep in great physical shape as your body is your work like a camera is a photographer's.

You could get acting at the age you are now - join a theatre or acting school and get alot of practice. Also, check out drama activities and plays in your school and you should excell if you're good enough. After that find yourself an agent to get you auditions for television and hopefully movies.

It sounds easy but its definately not. Don't get offended by rejection - learn from it. If you want this badly enough and never give up you should succeed.

You really want to be a model huh?

You should take acting classes in school and what you need if you want to be a child model is a protfolio done by a professional photographer.

Check out some local portrait photographers in your area and get to know these people.

It doesn't have to be a big time studio but someone with some real talent for taking photographs of people--you might even want to volunteer as a photo subject but your mom needs to approve and there might be some legal papers she'll need to sign.
