This is called 2x2x2!!! i LOVE this!

OK... what you do is you write down TWICE on a sheet of paper...
Then you say it twice aloud loud
And finally you you read it twice in your head... and then you repeat! (how ever many ties you need to memorize it... split it into sections to make it easier...)

2 other things...
you might want to try understanding the monologue before you memorize it because i find that you if you understand what your talking about you memorize it better. We humans of the actor persuasion naturally put inflections in our voice when we say things aloud to memorize things... so if you know what your talking about, you can get the inflections and your mind kind of remembers that kind of tone the monologue is generating.

And 2... tape yourself and put headphones on and "sleep on it" it helps!

GOOD LUCK!

rehearse each line 3 times

read it aloud over and over until eventually you can quote it sounds silly but it works amazingly you just start to read less and remember more

People approach memorization differently. Some people focus on the language, some on the emotional intent.

Try repeating it over and over. If you can, record it and play it back, reciting along with the recording.

Another method is to write out the lines again and again.

tape record yourself saying the lines and listen whenever you have the chance.

Read it, read it, read it.
Say it, say it, say it.
Write it, write it, write it.

If you can write your lines, you know your lines.

Now work on your cues.
