But whether or not you can sing....well, that depends on your rhythm and musicality, and also on tonal quality. Btw, I have never lost my voice too, although I do get sore throat quite regularly. A note of caution: it is best never to loose your voice, natural or deliberate. Take good care of your voice. It is good to shout now and then - it strengthens the voice box. And practice on your breathing. Good luck. TRY SINGING NOW, AND YOU WILL KNOW THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION..... IF I CAN HEAR YOU SINGING THEN I CAN TELL THAT YOU CAN SING, It means you have a strong voice. It doesn't mean you can sing. sing to someone and ask them whether you sound good or wheather you sound like a broken record (i sounded like a broken record on my first try) It means you should plan on trying out next year for American Idol & let Simon be the judge.
