I could see myself in brodeway. on stage anyways, i Also love to dance.
AND MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH

broadway baby!

a movie

defintely theater

um im not really sure what bout u??

in movies because I don't think you have such a big crowd and I hate performing in front of people.

Stage.......Belting out "Phantom"

initially movies for the money and later on theatre for the pleasure of acting

I would have to be in a movie - at least they could edit or re-shoot my screw ups. On a Broadway stage you only get one take.

theater! less likely to attract nutty, stalker fans, and less likely to be splashed all over the gossip magazines.

Prolly movies, because if I screw up they can fix it, lol!?

Movies- Can't imagine getting in a hit and playing the SAME script over and over, for years.

i... AM an actress...
just not a very good one.
i do theater at the arts center in my town.
it rocks.

Both, i have been on theatre, nothing big, but i would love to be in one of the good theatres, bu t at the moment i am just doing some small things like in amature theatres, its the best way to start and maybe in the future i might gete chance to be on screen

I'd definitely pick movies. TV and theatre lock you into a character for a very long time, so after a while it would be just a job. In the movies, you play a character for a few months, then the project is over and you go back to being yourself until the next project, which could be a completely different project with new challenges. TV also stinks in that many people will associate you so closely with your character that they'll think they know something about you before they meet you--after all, you are in their house weekly so they must know you. Theatre wouldn't have that problem of TV, but you still wouldn't get the on-the-job variety that playing in movies would, because the most successful theatre productions run for a few years, and who wants to aspire to act in an unsuccessful production?.

Theatre is definitely home to me.

Definately, Movies!!! I'd be versatile, Drama, Action, Comedy, just like Johnny Depp!! I'd be an actress just to meet other actors like JOHNNY DEPP!!LOL

On the world stage as a Politician . I know no better actors !

Definitely the theater. With theater there is that personal one-to-one connection with the audience. You get to see it in its completion. Movies, to me, seem very cold and often they are done in piece work, and you may not even see the other actors, or see the movie as a whole.. In a play you work" together" and I would find that emotionally beneficial.

Hollywood Movies! :-)

I like either one.. But i think the theater the best.

I am an actress and I do both; but when doing film/tv you dont get as much of the adrenaline rush you do when you get on stage in front of a crowd.

They are completely different genres and require almost
opposite acting skills. Musicals and stage work call for
you to be exaggerated in some way while film work
is microscopic to your every subtle expression...and is
mostly underplayed in order for the visuals to take hold.
I think Musical Comedy has to be the most fun...also
requiring the most physical work and best, non flagging
attitude. Hope ya have the energy of 5 people for that
one. So much fun. The charisma's the thing.

Hi Rita, I would try acting in the Theatre.

I am an actress, though not professional, of the stage, and if I actually could get paid for doing what I love and being famous, I could care less if it was in the theatre or the movies. But since I've already had a flavor of the stage life--which is amazing, by the way (but only if you can live with constant tension)--I'd be more than okay with just being in the movies. Especially if they ever made movies out of Bass Ackwards and Belly Up (Becca or Harper), the It Girl (Jenny), or A Countess Below Stairs (Anya)!

Theater then movies .beacuse I am already in theater work so the next step would have to be movies

Hm, probably stage. I overcame stage fright when in university. As for movies or television, ohhhhhhh, I get camera fright

deff. theatre

I think I would be a better actor on film -- I really can't stand to overact and be bigger than life, which is what you have to do on stage; my skill lies more in being natural -- but realistically I'll probably get more roles in theatre because I've not quite got the face for movies. ;) One can always dream and try, though.

Theater. I have done both and there is nothing akin to working a live crowd. Each audience is different. there are some generalities that one can make: A Friday night audience is harder to win than the Saturday night crowd, and Sundays are kids and blue haired old ladies, but each one has it's own unique personality. The trick is to find their rhythm and emotional temperament and take them there. reading an audience is a skill in itself. It is fun.
