Sorry, but absolutely not. There are no 'recruiters' that are legit. Anyone who comes up to you and says they are a talent scout is only out for one thing. Your money.

Being in the OC you are close enough to LA that you have a TON of legit options at your fingertips. Go here: http://www.sag.org/node/667 Get a cute snapshot of your baby mass produced and send it to any agent on that list with a children's department (it will say full service. If it says Adult, don't bother) You send the photo and a brief cover letter telling them that you are seeking representation for your child (tell them for what; modeling, commercial, theatrical - which is tv, film, etc. or across the board which is all of the above) I can tell you that Colleen Cler, DDO, and some agencies that are not SAG but are on the Ross Reports list like Bobbly Ball have good children's departments. Subscribing to Ross Reports gives you more info so that you don't waste photos, postage and time submitting to agencies who are not accepting at this time.

You should know that having a child in the business is a big committment. You cn't do this and have a fulltime job unless you have someone who is available to take your child to set and stay with him at all times. Not to mention any auditions or go sees that come up on a moment's notice.

good luck,
Marianne

No baby does not need to be in the spotlight at all.
