Writers of the world: HELP ME!!!!!?

Question:I have to write a play that will be performed in front of my entire school. Umm, pressure much? Nah, I'm really excited about it, really, but i have one problem. I HAVE NO FLIPPING IDEA WHAT TO WRITE ABOUT!!!!!!!!
No that's not true, i have an extremely vague, foggy, clouded idea, but i just can't make the fog clear away.
And when i do think of a story, it won't work cause it's to complicated to do as a school play.
Any advice on how to clear the fog and get an idea? Any at all? please?

Sometimes as a writer, you just need a little inspiration and a little help - something to spark your imagination.

This site could be just the thing you're looking for. It will generate random plot ideas, characters, etc. There are a lot of different generators to choose from. Skim through them and try them out. It's a lot of fun and completely free. Hopefully, it will give you what you need to clear away the fog from your mind and give you an idea that gets you excited.

A lot of writers use an existing idea, like a simple fairytale plot or Shakespeare plot and re-work it. You could do that too and it would mean that you already have the storyline. Just change it here and there to suit your purpose.

Try watching some movies to jog your imagination.

Just try to go your own little thinking corner and just try to relax, something will come to you. If not then email me cuz im a writer too and i can give u one of my ideas.

Write what you know - maybe a family situation with some things changed to protect the guilty. Give your characters qualities inspired by people you know.
