It's probably legitimate - as long as you don't have to pay anything, I would think it's okay. Ask them what they've cast recently and then verify it at imdb.com or by calling the production office.

It is legitimate. They've been around for a long time.

There is an old saying that goes "This person looked like they came straight out of Central Casting"---meaning he/she looked the part of whatever profession they were, just as if they'd been sent over by, um, Central Casting.

Yes, they're legit, but only register with them if you live in NY or LA since that's where they cast.
You don't have to try out, it's all done through photo's, but again only register if you live in proximity or are willing to travel to NY or LA to do a $60 a day non-union gig.
