Public Enemies - a Universal Pictures feature film starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale will be shooting in Chicago starting in mid-March. I don't know what roles they still need cast, but studios often fill some of the smaller roles with local talent.

I don't know what local casting director is handling the Chicago casting. You could either send your picture and resume to Avy Kaufman - or your best bet is to dig around and see who locally is handling the casting for the film.

There is a Film Meetup group in Chicago and one of the things they're going to discuss is whether you got an audition for Public Enemies and if not - why not. Someone there will probably know who is doing the local casting. They also seem to know about the indy film scene in Chicago.

See if your parents will take you. I bet you could gain some valuable information from them.
