If you're having trouble with sense memory things like those suggested above, try doing more physical things: For example, elevating your heart rate by breathing fast or exercising vigorously just before your monologue. If you have to build to anger over the course of the monologue, you can subtly dig your index finger nail under your thumb nail or squeeze the tendon in the webbing between your thumb and index finger. Remember that betrayal is probably the strongest source of anger, so going for or remembering a betrayal may help more than other sources of anger.

I suppose you have to think about something that makes you really angry

Find a time in your life when you were angry. At mom or dad, sister or brother or some stupid jerk in the movie line. Think on it, remember it, re-live it, until you can feel the rage.
Then remember that feeling and bring it back to use when the time is needed.

get angry with your coach...
or imagine your enemy beside you

your answers show confusion about The Method. They mix up sense memory and emotional memory , but you needn't bother with such old fashioned kinds of acting. Today's acting is not the pretense of yesteryear, it is an honest expression of emotion as a reaction to a stimulus. If you are not angry enough, it is that you are holding back, now allowing yourself to fully express the full emotion for fear of looking stupid. well, you won't look stupid, if you fully express the emotion honestly as you react to the stimuli of the scene (that which makes you angry) as the character in full expression of her anger. You have to allow yourself the luxury of being really, really angry, after all there are no consequences, it is a play. (Y0u got some coach who tells you what is wrong but not how to fix it.)

Imaging. I use to imagine my father cheating on my mother
with someone my age...I was 19 at the time. Really pissed
me off. You can use other things, but this one worked for
me. How about finding out your best friend is secretly
dating your boyfriend or that someone slashed your tires
when you were late for a first day at work.

why are you anger no please be good mind all right
