Question:I play the cello, and I would like to play, when I grow up(I'm only 14), in The New York Philharmonic Orchestra. How good I have to be to get hired and what else do I need to get hired?

You have to be very, very, VERY good. The NY Phil is considered one of the world's best orchestras (and is one of the highest paying), so to get in, you will be competing with hundreds of the world's best cellists for a single spot (you can't even be considered for an audition without having an impressive resume and recommendations from top teachers.)

But don't give up- if you keep practicing, you just might make it!
