Question:If I am trying for Emma, what should I wear? The musical director told me at camp to not wear jeans, obviously, but not be too formal. I want to look proper, but a tiny bit innocent.

Wear a nice dress that has a youngish look to it and put your hair back.

Another idea is a floaty top or a lacy one, something feminine, with slacks.

the original play was in the victorian era, so the style would be hair up curls/tendrils cascading down, high button ladies shirt with buttond on the cuffs(3) or lace or ruffle around neck or sleeves a long A style skirt with a wide belt perhaps some kind
of small train brushing the floor and high button boots also a lady
usually had a handkershief also easy makeup
