i can do english (0xford), cockney, american southern, american western, new york, south african, italian, and french.

Yes, and a halfway decent Cockney one as well (but that sometimes turns Scottish about halfway through).

I do German, French, The South, English, and Spanish.
I liked DiCaprios Boer accent in Blood Diamond,
I would like to practice that.
I only use them in public.

I can do And Irish Accent on account of my Great Gram is from Ireland i'm pretty good at imitating her.

nope :)

The first time I realized I could actually do an accent was when I got called to audition for a multi-media project in which I would have to have a Polish accent.

I didn't even know what a Polish accent sounded like. I rented "Sophie's Choice" and also learned that a friend of mine's late father was Polish, so my friend helped me learn the accent quickly. I only had a few days before the audition.

I nailed the audition and got the job. I thought I would never need a Polish accent again, but within the same year, there was a play with another Polish character. I nailed that audition and got that, too.

Since then, I've had to do a Scottish accent, US Southern, British RP, and I am now working on an Irish accent for my current show. I have also taught myself French, but have yet not had a chance to use it in a show.

It really is a useful skill to have. I'm sorry I didn't study dialects earlier.

Great job for learning a British accent - that one has come in most handy for me (four or five shows so far.) Keep up the good work!

I can do a bunch of different English ones, German, southern, and a halfway decent Swedish accent
