Barbizon...?

Question:So i just got like a notice that says that Barbizon is holding auditions for models and actors...i do want to become an actory...but i dont know if its a scam or not? and the thing came to my name...i have no clue how they got it? maybe i must of signed up or something at school? i cant remember...anyways..is it a scam so they can only take your money?

Barbizon is a school that will teach poise and performance skill. They take anyone who is willing to pay several thousand dollars for classes. In my opinion you are better off taking acting lessons at a local college or university. Will cost less and will give you accredited points toward a degree.

Real talent agencies make money from they % they get from booking you work.

barbizon is a HUGE scam! they take all your money and get you no where!

Most such things are scams where they tell everyone they are wonderful and that they need these expensive classes. NEVERMIND>

Yes, in my opinion it is a clever marketing ploy for classes.

I never got as far as enrolling, but I was called in twice and was very turned off by their approach.
