Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Problem with recieving emails from my agency?

Question:i got a call from my agency about something they wanted me to attend, and they said that they sent an email to me on wednesday, and an email was also sent before we hung up. i havent gotten either one. i tried to send an email to the agency director about it yesterday, but she hasnt responded and she usually responds within the hour. what should i do about this? i'm scared to call them because they already disclosed that they dont like talent calling them because they are so busy and they have a strict 2 strikes and your out rule, but if I'm missing out on auditions because of this there has to be something that can be done.

Check your email settings. Make sure your agency's emails are not being blocked because they are not on your list of people who may email you, or, that they are being blocked because you accidentally blocked their address.

I would indeed call them to let them know there is a problem with the system. Or at least send an email labeled urgent: please respond and explain it in the email. If they don't respond, they may have not received it, or their return emails are being blocked.

Why couldn't they tell you what and where and when over the phone?? That is what my agent always did.

It's important to communicate clearly if there is a problem wth e-mails. Check to see if their messages are coming to your SPAM box. You don't want to be dropped b/c of an e-mail issue.

Perhaps you can start an alternate e-mail account-

Or it may make a difference if they label the messages differently. Mass e-mails or ones that are not personalized to you often get sent to SPAM or BULK...
