You train by doing plays and taking classes, yep, right on. An agent looks for ability, experience and looks. For more information read my profile and write me at my aol address where I give free advice to actors.

How old are you? How talented are you? How much singing/acting/dancing have you done? These are all important. I am currently studying at uni to break into film, but behind the camera. I would suggest you send a profile (film yourself performing in a school show etc) to as many agencies as possible, and take a course in performance arts at University.

Many universities have excellent programs. This is by far the best way to get into acting.
