Question:im auditioning fore a role on tv and it says, submit hardcopy only........what does that mean?

Print it on paper, as opposed to by e-mail :)

Hardcopy means the original copy. If you're writing a paper, then the hardcopy is the original typed one, and any other copies are called "copies". If you're making a video, then the hardcopy would be the original tape/DVD/whatever you taped it on.
