Question:I want to know if you, after reading "Answers" have actually used acting advice given to someone else. Or information you have obtained as a result of a question you asked about acting? And if so, what was the advice and how did it work for you (Good/Bad outcome)?

The reason I am asking is week after week, I see the same types of qustion being asked about acting; How do I get an agent? How do I audition? How do I find a mono for a certain "Type/age/sex/ etc. How do I move to Hollywood and become a star over night with no experience??? ect.......

Are any of the thousands of answers on acting doing anyone any good at the end of the day bottom line?!

I think if the questions were really about acting and not about
fame, the answers would be more helpful. The work should
be the main concern, but if someone really wants to make
their living at it, I have seen some practical suggestions
here on answers. Most of these questions come from very
young, inexperienced people who don't live in New York
or L.A. where you can learn very fast what to do. They
have no idea how competitive the field is and most
answerers aren't equipped to tell them. The people that
might be able to help them are either too busy pounding the
pavement looking for work or working too hard to be on
here.

Yes some answers has helped me, and i dont ask stupid questions like...."how do get on the disney channel?"..im serious about acting and want to learn everything it takes. i have learned a lot and know that it is hard work.

I don't think the majority of the people see that great search for questions box up above-- I find it sad that the highest level of aspiration for young actors is Disney Channel when I was 12 I wanted to be Glenn Close (still do), of course it is better than the homework questions 95% of which could be answered by typing the same phrase in to a google search bar.

I am here to give the best advice i can, but i think it is helping the individual who askes the question only-- one brick at a time.

C'est la vie ma cher. :)
