Acting and want a show on MTV?

Question:Recent business grad and no job and i thought let me follow my dreams.. I want to get into acting. I think i would be good. I dont have any experience in acting but i think i can do it.. how hard can it be? Im really good and remember things.. also i consider myself to be a very funny individual and would like to have my show on MTV.. similar to the human giant. Should i get an agent to find me actong jobs? How should i begin?

If you have no experience, you have no idea if you're any good. Get experience before you even think of getting an agent. They're in it to make money, not to train people.

Try open-mike night at comedy clubs, or audition for plays. See how you are received by an audience.

First you need to move to New York and try and get a job with MTV.

Of course you need an agent and a lawyer. MTV along with other station will NOT talk to you about any kind of show or show idea with out those two people with you first. Copy right law and things like that you know..
