where to get started!!?

Question:Ok, Im a 13 year old girl and i LOVE acting so so much!!! I can act pretty well (i think) i can cry on demand i can make myself look depressed and preform basically most roles. But like i said im 13 and i really dont know where to get started. I asked my mom if she would help me or if it would be ok if i started acting and she said yes she would love me to do something that i love and so i have no problem getting parental supervision stuff type things... (u no). If you know of anywhere i can get started in acting (tv show, movie etc.) any kind of small part/big part i dont really care i just want to act!! If you can help me id REALLY appreciate it!!!

here's what you do <im an actress to and this is the way to go cause ive got so much auditions> first you really have to move to california or like get an apartment there maybe just with your mom or with your whole family <plus the writers strike going on isnt affecting any audition>get a manager then get an agent then get headshots then your set to go and you'll get auditions then get some callbacks then book some stuff good luck

for starters, take part in your school or community theatre. success doesn't happen overnight, you will have to build a name for yourself and have many, many credits to that name.
also check into acting lessons. looking around for a local modeling agency wouldn't hurt either.

Do you go to an acting school? If not, you should join one. They'll teach you a heap of important tips for acting. Even some of the best actors still go to schools when they need it.
After you've done that for a bit, see who your acting teacher is in contact with. She may contact certain places to see if you can get a small part in something. If you do good in that, someone will pick you up, and you'll get more things to do.

Or, you could find auditions to advertisements or tv shows, if you got it, you would only get a tiny part, but it's enough to get you started.

You just have to get your name known in the community.

FIND A CAMP AND IN THE SUMMER JOIN IT. IT DOESN'T COST THAT MUCH AND YOU WILL HAVE SO MUCH FUN. THEY DO OTHER ACTIVITIES OTHER THAN ACTING AS WELL.

You should try to find acting classes; some dance studios have them. It'd help a lot, and they might know some other places to start acting. If your school has a drama class you might want to join if you're not already in it, and ask the teacher if there are any places with jobs available. I think you should start with theatre, because TV and movies might be hard to come by.

Step 1: Classes! Having experience is a definite pro! Step 2: Headshots + Agents. You'll get used to a lot of auditions, and callbacks, but having experience, and drive is such a helpful advantage

Right now the writer's strike has everything on hold but later on Los Angeles is the best place or there is local community theater.
