Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I really have no idea.

Many newspapers have a small section in the classified sections where they list auditions under talent. It varies paper to paper. You can also find these listing on Craigs List under "Gigs" and then "Talent". However not that many people list in the papers and most of the postings on Craigs List are either not legit or don't pay anything. However occasionally you will find something. You just need to read very carefully.

Your best bet for finding auditions is to look in Back Stage on the East Coast and Back Stage West on the West Coast.

Usually the entertainment section.

you will not find many casting calls in the "want ads" section of any newspaper
you need to subscribe to Backstage West or a similar paper
you can also subscibe online
also, if you are in SAG or Equity, check with your union's website
if you are not in a union, you are probably out of luck anyway

i didn't know there was any. i think it depends on the newspaper. ummmm i dunno to be honest sorry! keep checking.

Newspapers do not have casting calls, unless a major movie is being filmed and cast in your city.
