i write down my lines at least three times. this way your writing them down and getting them in to memory and also can see the "tone" in the lines and will be able to convey them more
good luck!!

tape record the entire show and listen to it, its the same way you memorize, songs you hear it over and over tilll you know every word

write me at my aol address in my profile and I will send you my article on how to memorize lines

there is no magical way except practice.
one thing i try is repeating a certain line over and over until it's sinked in my brain then adding the next line in with it

what i do is i tape record all my lines. then AT LEAST ONCE A DAY i play it back while i'm getting dressed or something.

I just played Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz and I had 365 lines and I learned them all in 2 days. Start out with high lighting all your lines. Then go in a quiet area away from ALL distractions. Focus on one scene at a time. Read the scene about three times then cover up your lines with a flash card and see if you get them right.
