Question:well i have been asked to go to get picked, and they said, only 16 out of a messload of kids are getting picked.i was one of them but i got scared so didnt go.it was for modeling/acting in tvshows.
well now, my frriend said shes going to one, for the disney chanel.what should i pick tho?wich gets the most money??modeling,acting,starring in movies,videos,tv comercials, tv shows, or print adds?
i know how to do all of that stuff aready.
the thing that is holding me down, is now i have braces,so im like kind of scared :[

Hun, you just need to go to college. Sorry to break it to you but it is very difficult to break into organizations like the Disney channel at your age.

That said, don't be discouraged if this is really what you want to do some form of modeling or acting remember that you shouldn't have to pay anything up front. Modeling schools are frequently scams and "scouting agencies" that promise to find you gigs if you pay them upfront are a waste of time and money.
Additionally, you may want to wait until you are 18+ and then go try to do some local promotional modeling. Promotional Modeling is where you go out and have a gig advertising a brand at a concert or at a event, such as a rodeo or fair. The pay is pretty good, often 15-25$ an hour.

Always be cautious and meet with any contacts with a group of friends. Be sure that a parent or rsponsible adult is either with you or informed. There are creeps that prey of young women with dreams like yours.

If you're curious as to whether a commerical star makes as much as a movie star then you are already well suited for anyone in pop culture...retard

if you are looking for money, then your chances of success is very little... go for something you really like to do, and if you enjoy doing it, believe me, money will not even be an issue. If I get to pick for you, I'd start with PRINT ads, because your chances of exposure is very high, especially of you are very photogenic and if you like posing infront of your mirror... heck might as well get paid for it right? hope this helps.

Modeling & Commercials will get you paid the most frequently, and if you get onto the right campaign, can make you significant money through syndication.

Television Shows, you have to hit it big, same with Movies.

The Entertainment industry seems glitzy and glamorous to everyone whose not in it. To those of us in it, it's cut throat, unforgiving and... after all.... a business with an awful lot of people trying to get into a very small amount of inventory.

I'd go with Commercials if I wanted to hope to make a living (short of a miracle).

Commercial actors on the top end don't make as much as the top .05% of Movie actors, that's true, but they can make huge money and have a better chance of doing so.

if you want to do something more for the money than the fact that you actually love it than don't do any of them. do which ever one you truly love. not just which one makes the most money

You sound like so many other girls who think that show business is just all glamour, tons of money, and simple. Do you realize that most actors go into the business because they love acting? If you want to be rich and famous, marry some smart rich guy so you can have all the money and nice crap you want without having to do any work at all.

I think u shouldn't care about money. Let ur heart decide ur destiny. Do what u love, and love what u do, that's my advice.

This sounds like a scam to get you to pay for acting and modeling lessons. Is it John Casablancas or John Robert Powers? Both are fond of dropping names like Disney and Nick to children. Don't waste your money.
