What part should I try out for in my school's production of Grease?

Question:I'm a mezzo/belter, but can hit really high soprano notes. I was wondering what part I should try out for in my school's production of Grease (NOTE it's the school version, not the movie version). I have dirty blonde hair and blue eyes and I'm very thin.

I'm pretty sure Sandy is already casted, so eliminate that choice.
I think I have a great Rizzo voice, but I'm not exactly that "tough" girl and don't really look like Riz, but I think I'd be fine with the acting.
Marty I think would be good. I can sing "Freddy My Love" really well, and it's a good part but not a lead. You know?
I think Frenchy would be so much fun, but she doesn't really sing and singing's my specialty :/
Jan I can't do because she has to be overweight.
Patty Simcox would be fun. I used to be a cheerleader and could play her well, but again she doesn't sing!
Miss Lynch I don't really want.

I feel like I should go out for Rizzo, but I'm only a sophomore and I feel like a senior will get it :/ Advice?

Go for Marty...after seeing the musical, i actually really liked that part. And shes always there during the action.. by the way you make yourself sound, appearance and vocals i really think that it would be THE BEST option for you! Break A Leg

the only way you will get the part is if you try hard and have faith in yourself. if you can try out for more than one part an see what the director thinks your best at maybe it will bring new specialities out in you you didnt think you even had me personaly i think you should try for frenchy and see if you can get a few more singing parts

Have faith in yourself! IF you can sing and act, then try for whatever you want! Marty was always my favorite part--she's a fun character with a great song. Go for her!

Rizzo. You never know who will get the part. Try your best and you just might get it! Last year, our school put on "Annie." Everyone thought that a junior would get it. But they choose a 7th grader because her voice was AMAZING! You have to have to believe that you can get the part, and you will.

I though Patty Simcox sings. I actually know the orignal movie and I think she sings in it
