Pick up a copy of BackStage magazine at the newsstand. There are all kinds of photographers listed in the back. You can get their info, check out their websites, and set up a time to speak with them about your needs. You are also close enough to the drama schools and Drama Bookshop, where photographers advertise on bulletin boards. In NYC, there are many qualified people, just take the time to research and find who you are comfortable with...

I don't know of any there personally but I would definitely ask to look at your potential photographer's portfolio before taking any pictures. I have seen some situations wherein someone goes to a specific photographer because they heard they were good and got back some really horrible shots. But, with a headshot it really is one of the easier shots to take. Good luck!!
